YAKIMA, Wash. -- Last week, the doors to the Allied Arts building closed, putting the Warehouse Theater Company in flux.
Since the show must go on, the production of "A Christmas Carol" is now taking place at the Akin Center Theatre. That takes the pressure off to find a new venue.
"It was a little stressful having to change my show in mid stream but I'm absolutely thrilled, I think it's going to be a fantastic production and we're ready to go," said Warehouse Theatre Company Vice President Gary Gresham.
A structural engineer examined the damaged building. The Allied Arts office is deemed safe. It is operating as normal.
The theater and other areas of the building were ruled a safety hazard and will remain closed until further notice.
