WSDOT NEWS RELEASE – For the next six weekends drivers traveling on Interstate 90 near Easton will run into delays due to lane restrictions for about three miles between milepost 70 to 73.

Drivers traveling westbound on Fridays need to plan for up to two hours of added travel time and an hour on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. On Sundays drivers traveling eastbound and westbound need to plan for two or more hours of added travel time between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Drivers will also experience minor delays during the week due to these lane restrictions. During the next six weeks, drivers are encouraged to use the WSDOT travel graphs online to find the best times to travel in order to avoid delays.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews are repairing the bridge deck on the westbound Yakima River Bridge. In order to do this work, contractor crews need to restrict traffic to one lane across the bridge to remove and replace the deteriorated concrete.
