No Seasonal Flu Shots?
By Melissa Wagner
Yakima - Good luck finding the seasonal flu vaccine. Most providers are out, and won't get any more.
The number of seasonal flu cases has plummeted. This is typically the time of year it makes a strong comeback. But that hasn't happened. " About that time we saw 31% coming back positive. Now we're seeing only about 3 percent of the flu test coming back positive and of course that could be H1N1 or seasonal flu," said Jessica Brown with the Yakima Health District. There are still a few months left in this season. And health officials expect H1N1 cases to rise again for another wave next month. Most doctors still have plenty of the h1n1 vaccine. |
