Yakima versus Yuma
YAKIMA --- The nation's fattest cities have been facing off to show they're willing to lose, to win.
"I do like those apples and I think we can do it," a Yuma City Council Member told Yakima on tape. "It's been a wonderful experience up to this point. Thanksgiving hurt me personally and I have a lot of catching up to do," Yakima mayor, Dave Edler chuckled. He's part of the competition too.
Yakima and Yuma, Arizona are both on the top ten list of the nations fattest cities. So they decided to challenge each other to see who could loose more pounds. If Yuma wins, it gets baseball hats and a box of Yakima Apples. If Yakima wins, it gets baseball hats and a box of Yuma salads.
They're about halfway through with the competition and Yakima's 120 people just took the lead. They'll do the final weigh-in in 3 weeks.
