US Bank Robbed--Suspect On The Loose

YAKIMA -- Another Yakima business has been robbed once again in broad daylight and possibly by the same person.

US Bank on Fruitvale was hit around 9 am Tuesday morning. Yakima police say the thief is African American in his 20's, standing 5' 9 with a hoodie and orange colored shoes.

He forced his way in a back door and demanded money using a pistol. The description is the same for the suspect in Monday's pharmacy robbery.

"It's always unusual when we have a couple of robberies in a row especially with the same description but it remains to be seen if it's the same person or not," says Capt. Greg Copeland, Yakima Police Department.

There is no surveillance video or pictures of the robber because he used the back door.
