Police Searching For Second Shooter In Weekend Homicide

YAKIMA -- A 34-year-old man shot several times at a Halloween party over the weekend has died turning this assault case into a homicide.
7th Street and Lincoln is where the shooting occurred. Police say someone opened fire into the crowd after several gangbangers crashed the party and were asked to leave. In all, three people were hit. A 19-year-old has been taken into custody but YPD is looking for another shooter. "We know there were two shooters because there were two different caliber shell casings left behind," says Sgt. Scot Levno, Yakima Police Department. Jason Baldoz died of his wounds this morning. Police say none of the victims have gang ties. |
