More than 50 Model T cars rolled into Yakima Wednesday night.

They're going coast to coast to honor a race that happened 100 years ago. They started in New York about a month ago, and will end in Seattle. The route is the same one others competed on in 1909.

The cars only move at about 40 miles an hour and get about 20 miles to the gallon. "I'm looking forward to the parade in Seattle and also maybe getting here because a month is a long time. But it's been a wonderful experience," Gary Forester said. He's from New York and made the trip. When Action News got there, many reminisced about the days whena brand new car, a Model T, costs only $12.

Thursday the Ellensburg Museum will have a big event for the drivers.
