School Uniforms Catching On?
By Sade Malloy
MABTON -- Two local school districts are now looking into school uniforms.
White, black and grey uniform's are already the rule for Union Gap students. Now it's a possibility for Sunnyside and Mabton. The Mabton School District started moving ahead with the idea after three students got on campus for about 20 minutes before school officials realized they were from Grandview. "The realization was had those people had bad intentions they could have carried them out rather easily," says Sandra Pasiero Davis, Mabton School District. Davis says the board is working to get parent and teacher comments right now. Mabton school board members will have the final say. |
