Firefighters had to call for back up on a large brush fire.

Five acres of sage brush caught on fire off Pioneer Way in Cowiche. Yakima firefighters called for extra help to cover the several hundred foot fire line in windy conditions. They're not yet sure how it started, but it's out now.
