4 men escape following Wapato home invasion robbery
YAKIMA COUNTY SHERIFF'S NEWS RELEASE -- On 09/14/2012, around 0800, four males entered a home in the 100 block of Balsam Ln in the Wapato area. During the home invasion, one of the suspects brandished a pistol and pointed it at a victim inside the home. The victim was directed to remove property from rooms in the home. He complied with the requests and was not injured. The homeowner also complied and was not injured.
The suspects, believed to be Hispanic, wore bandanas on their faces. The Suspects fled in a green colored pick up with the word “Chevy” across the tailgate.
