YAKIMA -- Yakima County is starting the new year with a brand new leadership team. Commissioners Kevin Bouchey, Mike Leita and prosecutor Jim Hagarity were sworn in by a judge this morning.

Yakima County Commissioner Kevin Bouchey says to an audience of family, friends and co-workers, “Yakima County, we have some great opportunities and some great challenges ahead of us and I look forward to be part of addressing those opportunities and challenges.”

The county's gang problem is the first challenge Bouchey plans to focus on.
