YAKIMA -- If you're one of the people out of work and in need of a paycheck, there are some jobs to be filled. Retail stores are looking for seasonal workers to help out. There are 91 openings in Yakima and Work Source representatives say that number should double by the end of this year, but they're not all seasonal jobs. Thriving businesses in the valley are looking for workers and are willing to train.

Work Source counselor Fabian Sanchez explains, "We have a lot of restaurant work and retail that are starting to come in right now. That's a lot of what we're starting to get."

A couple dozen of the job openings are in customer service. The Yakima agriculture industry needs 7 people, and there are more than 20 jobs that require a college degree.
