Hunker down: November chill continues through weekend

The coldest weather of the season so far chilled Washington overnight with low temperatures early Thursday mostly in the teens in Eastern Washington.

Meteorologist Gary Schneider at the National Weather Service office in Seattle says it's below normal but not record-setting for this time of year.

Some early morning temperatures were 10 in Pasco, 12 at Yakima, 21 at Walla Walla, and 11 at Ellensburg, Moses Lake and Tri-Cities.

Schneider says cold, dry weather is likely to continue for several days. He says temperatures should rise a bit and the dry spell could last to Thanksgiving Day.
