Hundreds trade their loafers for high heels to support sexual assault victims
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Hundreds of people including local law enforcement traded their loafers for high heels this afternoon. All for a good cause.

Men and women walked a mile in women's high heel shoes to raise awareness of sexual assault and support victims. The men we spoke with say they now realize how hard it is to wear heels.

"I'm not nervous to walk in them but they hurt," said Yakima Police Officer Nate Henyen. "They hurt already and I've just been standing, but it's well worth it."

There was no cost to walk in the event. However, donations were accepted.
