Flood Warning Issued for Naches River

The National Weather Service in Pendleton, OR, has issued a flood warning for the Naches River near Cliffdell and Naches.

Rapid snowmelt brought on by unseasonably hot temperatures is causing the Naches River to rise rapidly. Flooding is expected along the Naches beginning Thursday night.

The river is expected to crest late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
