Fighting Auto Theft

YAKIMA -- They're asking for a $180,000 grant from the state.
The money would be used for equipment, training, overtime, and travel expenses in the fight against car crooks. Those heading up the program say Yakima's overall crime rate is down, but we still have a big problem when it comes to this kind of crime. City Council has to approve the grant request tomorrow night. |
