Selah Schools get a bang for their buck
SELAH, Wash. -- KIMA followed up with the Selah School District to see what they're spending their grants on. They recently received nearly one-million dollars.

New summer school classes, day programs, and teachers will be added to schools this year. One parent thinks the funding is going to all the right places.

"I think having the summer school programs will keep the students from losing knowledge through the summer time that some tend to lose,” said Selah parent Jaimi Schmidt.

Transportation will be provided for students enrolled in summer school. Day programs are planned to start in January.
