Forecasters: Rain to cause river levels to rise

CENTRAL WASHINGTON -- Rain is expected to cause river and stream levels to rise by midweek, according to National Weather Service forecasters.

A weather system is forecasted to move across the region Monday night and Tuesday. Forecasters believe it will force river levels to rise. Although flooding is not expected.

Forecasters remind people living along rivers and streams to keep monitoring conditions.
