White Pass opened a couple weeks later than usual, but it turned out to be a stellar ski season.

"It's been just fabulous, I cannot complain one bit," said Kevin McCarthy, General Manager of White Pass Ski Resort.

McCarthy says the snow was fresh, and business was great this year.

Right now, White Pass is asking for permission to double the size of the ski area, adding two lifts and a lodge. A judge could make a decision on the expansion plan by this summer.

White Pass is expected to be open for skiing through the end of the month.
