SEATTLE -- 10-year-old Christopher Sanchez is out of the ICU and now in satisfactory condition, according to Harborview Medical Center. Hospital staff said he still has a long way to go but he's improving.

He's one of the two Yakima boys who were run over by a car while waiting for the school bus last week.
Police say Chris was dragged 80 feet and it took a car jack to pry him loose.

His 11-year-old brother Israel was taken to a Yakima hospital and has been recovering at home. He suffered broken ribs and scuff marks to his face and arm. Chris remains in Seattle and is being treated for head trauma, broken legs and broken ribs.

Driver Benjamin McKenzie was charged with vehicular assault. Police said he was high on methamphetamine at the time. His bail was set at half a million dollars.
