Yakima police: 1 shot in gang-related shooting
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police responded to a drive-by shooting that sent one-person to the hospital.
Witnesses say up to ten shots were fired near Fairbanks and 6th Avenue.
It happened shortly before 4:00 Thursday afternoon sending Garfield Elementary into lockdown.
Officers said a man was shot while standing on his front porch.
Police haven't said if anyone's been arrested but they have said this is the work of gang members.
