YAKIMA, Wash. -- Nobody was hurt in a house fire that broke out Wednesday morning near 32nd Ave. and Lincoln.

Firefighters think the fire may have started in the basement of a home.

Officials said the fire broke out around 9:15. One man was home at the time of the fire but he escaped without injury. The family is now receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

The cause is under investigation. Crews said it may be related to electrical wiring.
