YAKIMA, Wash. -- A former Davis High School basketball player pleaded guilty Tuesday for trying to elude police.
Devonte Luckett led police on two recent high speed chases.
Detectives say he drove close to a hundred miles an hour along Washington Avenue in traffic during one of them.
Luckett was a member of last season's state basketball championship team.
The 19-year-old got a light sentence of time served for being a first-time offender.
Uh what am I missing. He was involved in 2 high speed chases with police. But he was a first time offender?
