Benton City Home Burns to the Ground

BENTON CITY-- Jenae Jensen saw her house go up in flames today, according to Benton County Sheriff's deputies.

They say she came home to her Everett Road house around noon to find smoke coming from the kitchen area.

By the time fire crews got there it was too late-- the house was destroyed.

Deputies say she may have also lost her cat in the blaze.

The incident is still under investigation.
