Allegiant ending Pasco to LAX service

ALLEGIANT AIR NEWS RELEASE -- Allegiant announced Thursday the suspension of scheduled service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Pasco, Billings, Mont. and Sioux Falls, S.D.

“We are always disappointed to suspend routes,” said Keith Hansen, Allegiant Travel Co. Director of Airports. “This situation is particularly disappointing due to the fact that it has been caused by facility constraints beyond our control. We are very apologetic to our customers who will be adversely affected by the politics of Los Angeles World Airports, and we will continue to fight for their best interest.”

Allegiant will suspend the three routes into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) due to a decline in gate space allotted to the carrier.

The carrier’s last day of service for these routes will be August 31, 2012. Customers with reservations beyond that date will be contacted directly by Allegiant for a full refund.
