YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Search crews were back out at Buena Pond Tuesday searching for the body of a 16-year-old boy.
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office says the boy went missing Monday afternoon around 3:30.
Divers from the sheriff's office and volunteers from Columbia Basin are searching for him.
They say it's been difficult to find the boy's body because of the cloudy water.
Officials say they've been working tirelessly to find him.
"A lot of volunteers taking their time here today to help the family get some closure on this event," said Brian Winters of the Yakima County Sheriff's Office.
Divers will continue searching until dark. They say they'll have to call off the search at some point.

The boy who drowned was my friend, his name was Jorge. It's so unfair that they told the news reporters about finding the body before even telling the mother, that just makes me really really upset. It's frustrating to be there as supporters to the family, seeing that the sheriffs and the so called rescuers just stand there and do nothing.. NOTHING! The sheriffs would sit in their truck or just stand outside talking and enjoying themselves. There was other people who were family friends, and friends of the boy, and they brought there own boat and searched the pond. The sheriffs really did nothing in the search to find Jorge's body. Now that just makes me really upset. But the good thing is, they found his body, now there family have the closure they needed, and may Jorge now Rest in Peace.
