YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima Police identified the other two victims hurt in the Cherry Ave. shooting as 19-year-old Monica Silva and 23-year-old Robert Silva.
Both Monica and Robert are children of 43-year-old David Silva who was shot and killed early Tuesday morning.
Police said he was not the intended target. Officers found him on the porch of a home on the 300 block of Cherry Avenue shortly after midnight.
Detectives say Monica Silva is the only victim who has any sort of gang connection, but there's no indication she's a member. They also don't know if she was the intended target of what is considered a gang-related shooting.
Officers followed a lead that the suspects involved in the attack might be hiding out in a house a couple of blocks away on Cherry Avenue. That prompted a standoff that lasted until about 6 a.m. Tuesday and ended without finding anyone.
No arrests have been made. Police said they do not have any new information regarding potential suspects in this case.
