SEAVIEW, Wash. - A beachcomber discovered a dead whale on the southern Washington coast.

The whale, which is about 10 feet long but is missing its head, was found between Seaview and Sid Snyder Beach.

The beachcomber reported the find to wildlife officials in Washington state.

An official at the Seaside Aquarium in Oregon said the carcass appears to be that of a baby sperm whale or a beaked whale.
