YAKIMA -- The non-profit White Pass ski patrol held their annual fundraiser this weekend at the Yakima fairgrounds.

The clothing and equipment sale is their largest fundraiser. Money spent at the annual Ski-Swap is what the patrol uses every winter to help keep you safe on the slopes. Everything from gloves and jackets, to skis and snow shoes were sold, and organizers say the turnout has been slightly better than last year.

"Basically we take the income from this, and turn it into bandages and all the operational stuff," says one organizer. "That's what we use when we are assisting the public when they're injured."

The fundraiser did end today, but final numbers on how much they raised are still being tallied.
