On May 11th Fresenius Medical Care will begin treating kidney patients at night. The nocturnal program gives patients the option of night time treatments, thus freeing up their days for other activities.
During the day dialysis treatments last 3-4 hours. The night services will last 8 hours. The slower process removes more toxins from the body, and is less taxing on the body.
Some patients are happy about the night dialysis sessions, and are looking forward to doing their favorite day time activities once again.
