Police: Man shot multiple times in Yakima, no suspects arrested
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A man is in the hospital Wednesday night after being shot three times on the 300 block of Pierce Street in Yakima.

Yakima Police tell KIMA a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg, lower abdomen and hip around 4:45 p.m.

At the time of the incident police could not tell if the wounds were life threatening. Police say he was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for his injuries.

Police do not have anyone in custody. However, witnesses saw a car speeding away from the scene.

"My kids could be walking the street and this could happen to one of my kids," said neighbor Gloria Espita. "That's what I'm worried about. That scares me. I have three kids of my own and they're always walking around."

Police were at the scene for at least an hour collecting evidence. They say it is too early to tell if it is gang related.

Police say it could have been a drive-by shooting.
