Police ID pit bull attack victims; 1 dog still on the loose

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Police identified the two men attacked by wild dogs in Yakima.

The victims are Eddie Gefroh and Officer Ryan Davis. At least one dog is still thought to be running wild.

Officer Davis was the first attacked late Tuesday night near Division Street.

The pack of dogs jumped Gefroh a few hours later. He had severe bites.

Both men are expected to be okay.

One of the pit bulls was shot dead. A second was believed mortally wounded, but the third ran off. Call 9-1-1 if you see a tan pit bull mix running loose.
