East Valley schools locked down as a precuation

UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted and school is back to normal.

YAKIMA, Wash. -- East Valley School District went on a precuationary lockdown late Monday morning as sheriff's deputies searched the area.

Here's the update from Superintendent John Schieche:

At 11:50 a.m. on April 22, 2013, as a precautionary measure, the Sheriff’s Department has put the High School, East Valley Central, East Valley Elementary, Transportation Building, and District Office in lock down. The Sheriff’s department is currently searching for burglary suspects in the area. We will provide updates as they occur.
