CRIME TRACKER: 'It's the worst I've ever seen it'
YAKIMA, Wash. -- The KIMA Crime Tracker is keeping an eye on car prowls here in Yakima. The section between North 16th and North 1st is a hot spot for thieves.
Crime reports over the last two weeks show a dozen cars stolen in that area.
One woman told us her family moved away from that part of town because of it.
"We used to live two blocks from here," said Adelia Flores, who used to live in this area. "From yes, and you couldn't walk down the street at night because you might get robbed or shot. Because there's gangsters all over this area. They've really flooded this area and it's the worst I've ever seen it."
That same area saw half as many cars stolen in the first two weeks of december compared to this month.
