YAKIMA, Wash. -- A man accused of slashing two people's throats in Union Gap made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.

Emery Brasker faces charges of first degree attempted murder and assault.

The judge set bail for the 35-year-old at $750,000.

Brasker is accused of attacking his brother and brother's girlfriend. Police say they don't have a motive.

Investigators say both victims are out of the hospital.
