Chopper, Fourth Body Removed From Crash Site

EASTON -- Investigators from the F-A-A and National Transportation Safety board made it to the crash site.

They removed the fourth body -- believed to be the pilot.

They also brought the chopper down.

Now investigators are trying to determine what caused the chopper to crash.

Meanwhile fire activity continues at the Easton Ridge Fire.

But crews gained ground on the fire today.

Cooler temperatures prevent it from spreading.

And dozens of firefighters from around our state are attacking it from the ground and the air.

But rough and steep terrain are slowing them down

Warmer temperatures are predicted from next week...so firefighters are trying to get as much work done as possible.

They want to stay ahead of the weather and remain on top of the fire.

Crews hoped to have the flames 10 percent contained by about 6 tonight.
