The Yakima City Council is looking for a few additional cuts.

Right now the council has 14 thousand dollars in its 2010 travel budget. That's already down a thousand dollars from this years budget. But council member Bill Lover is pushing for another 10 thousand dollar cut in the council travel funds by pushing for less people going to overnight trips. "In fact I think they'll be just as effective as they've always been, it will just be a couple less people," he said. He's also pushing for day trips to Olympia instead of overnight stays.
