White Pass Has Enough Snow To Open This Weekend

WHITE PASS -- The snow hasn't hit us yet, but it's pounding the pass. So much so, that White Pass Ski Resort will open Friday.

The resort had so little snow last season, they were forced to delay the opening of the resort until a week before Christmas. Then it closed down, because they were snowed in.

White Pass Ski Resort lost a lot of money last season because the weather wasn't consistent, that's something they don't want to see again.

"This is a lot nicer when you start a week before Christmas it's a little nerve racking and people are just antsy to ski and board," says Kevin McCarthy, White Pass Ski Resort.

White Pass has gotten three feet in the last 12 days and the snows expected to continue falling through most of the weekend.
