More Trouble for YPD Deputy Chief
By Melissa Wagner
Yakima - It's been two months since the Yakima Police command staff issued a " No Confidence" vote against Deputy Police Chief, Kelly Rosenow.
The matter was taken to city management where the investigation continues. But KIMA has learned Rosenow may be facing more trouble. A Teamsters Union rep says Rosenow may have sent emails containing personnel information to his attorney, without issuing a public information request. Teamsters Representative, Wayne Johnson said, " And our people should be notified if any information is being released from their files. And if, and we're no sure that it was because we haven't received the documents yet, but I do understand that Yakima is investigating it and it's possible, and they're supposed to be releasing stuff to us shortly." In the meantime, YPD Command staff is also not happy with how long the city is taking to address its "no confidence" concerns. The union says it may have to take the matter before city council if a response isn't given soon. |
