Fire trucks were called out to the Selah Goodwill. Firefighters had to protect the building from a car fire feet away.

A 1985 AMC Eagle started on fire while the owner was shopping inside. The fire chief tried to contain it with a foam fire extinguisher, but called for back-up because the car was so close to the building.

The car may have had oil build up while waiting for a repair.

A little smoke got into the thrift store, but there was no damage to the building.
