4 Million Dollar Library Underway

We're now one step closer to having a four million dollar library built in Grandview.

Monday evening the city council had a special meeting about a new joint library for the community and YVCC Grandview campus. The council unanimously voted to provide up to 750 thousand dollars, if it's needed, to make sure there is enough money for the new library. About 82% of the four million dollars is already raised from the state, federal grants, and local donations.

YVCC needed to certify it had money committed for the project by July 1st.
