Seniors Mad Over New Card Hours
By Audrey Asistio
YAKIMA -- Don't come between seniors and their card games! The Harman Center has a new policy: seniors are now limited to 22.5 hours a week to play cards with friends. Playing time is also assigned in a designated room, not in front of the fireplace.
"Anytime there's a change, that causes people to be a little unsettled, but I think we've got it worked out. I think we've got a nice place for them to play," said Yakima Parks and Recreation manager Ken Wilkinson. He explained that they needed a new policy because the areas they were playing in were too congested. |
