Motorcyclist Thrown Off Bike Onto I-82

Selah -- An accident on I-82 threw a motorcyclist off his bike and into the middle of the interstate.

Troopers say he was going eastbound and turning a corner when the camper he was towing started swaying. "He's lucky that it happened the way it did he was obviously ejected off the bike about 30 feet from the motorcycle. If he would have had a good legal helmet it would have come out in better shape," says Trooper Jim Brown, Washington State Patrol.

Troopers say the motorcyclist was taken to Yakima Regional Hospital and that he was coherent and talking.
