When Summer Goes Away, Creepy-Crawlies Come Out to Play
By Rudabeh Shahbazi
PASCO-- You may notice more bugs trying to find a warm place to sleep-- inside your home.
Exterminators say spiders are the big problem right now. The two to watch out for in the eastern Washington are Hobo spiders and black widows. "Just like us, they like to get in and out of the cold, so they start focusing on finding warmer spots," said Thomas James Smith, who owns TJ's Pest Control. "Unfortunately, about 80 percent of the time, it's someone's house." The pros say spiders usually make their homes in upside-down buckets and pots, or under crawl spaces and door jams. |
