It Pays To Go Free
By Sade Malloy
Yakima -- How's about a free ride, a free Halloween hay ride.
Mark Barrett, Washington Fruit Place says, "We've been encouraged by many people that we should be charging a fee for it but we just do donations because some families don't have the money and others do it just works that way and we're just trying to provide something for the community." It looks like free is the way to go when it comes to hay rides. The folks over at Washington Fruit Place had 150 people on their ride Saturday that's 50 more than the year before. They're also doing a free hay maze and cider tasting. |
