Case Closed for "Peanut's" Death

YAKIMA -- Yakima police said Monday the mystery into a dog's death is solved.
Peanut's owner told Action News she found her daschund mix dead in her front yard last week and that it looked as if someone cut her open to remove her spleen. Even Peanut's vet believed that's what happened to the dog, but further tests showed another animal killed the dog. The vet, however, told Action News that tests didn't explain the missing spleen. Still, Yakima detectives believe animals got to the dog after she died. |
