Yakima -- Top Foods Supermarket says they're the first in the Northwest to have their seafood mercury tested and certified.

Right now the government requires that all markets meet mercury levels of 1.0 parts per million.

But Top Foods says their fish contains less than that because Safe Harbor Seafood has stricter standards.

Customers are all for it.

Burna Arnoux, Top Foods customer says, "Maybe a lot more people will go to seafood and eat it."

Top Foods says their Safe Harbor certified seafood doesn't cost more.
