YAKIMA -- Western Recreational Vehicles was served an eviction notice Friday just weeks after a company-wide lay-off.

The eviction notice was posted on the doors by the Yakima county sheriff's office.

Western RV has until next Wednesday to get off the property on Sutherland drive or face charges for trespassing and even burglary.

The company shut down because of financial reasons a few weeks ago, and laid off more than 200 people.

But some hoped they'd open up again or someone would buy the company.

"I think it was a manager, he was hoping four or five weeks that somebody would come in and of course that was a week ago," said Nick Vacca who was using Western RV's parking lot for his RV. "It's disappointing."

Action News also found lawsuits against Western RV for allegedly failing to pay rent for months at its old location off Washington Avenue last year.
