Local Claims Husband Found Metal Blade Inside Soda Can

Yakima -- That's not the sound you want to hear when you open a can of soda and take a swig.

Darla Juhl, claims found razor in soda says, "And he ripped the can open and there were two razor blades in there."

Darla says her husband found something moving around in his Diet Mountain Dew last week.

So she took her can and complaint to the source.

Darla says she came to the local Pepsi bottling company and was given a free case but Darla tells Action News she found a second razor in a second can from the same box, and now she wants answers.

And came to Action News looking for help.

Darla Juhl, claims found razor in soda says, "I want something done I'm not looking for money or rewards but this is really serious."

Darla says she and her husband aren't going to stop drinking Diet Mountain Dew, they're just going to switch to plastic bottles.

Now to be clear we can't verify that what she claims is true.

We sat down and talked with the local bottling company to find out what safeguards are in place.

They agreed to give us a tour of their plant.

We didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but we can't show you the video because of legal reasons.

Everything appeared to be clean and sanitary to the layman's eye.
