91-year-old man killed in crash with semi-truck

AHTANUM, Wash. -- The Yakima County Sheriff's Office confirmed a 91-year-old man died in a crash Wednesday morning.
Officials said a flatbed fruit truck and a car collided near the intersection of 64th and Ahtanum. It happened around 8:00 a.m.
Authorities said the car was heading westbound on Ahtanum and failed to yield to the semi-truck. The car's driver, Gordon Haines of Yakima, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi's driver, 53-year-old Israel Rodriguez, was taken to Memorial Hospital for his injuries. His condition is unknown.
